Miracle Mile (1 mile downhill)

8:00 a.m., Sunday, December 21, 2003: The Miracle Mile starts 8 a.m. at Rainbow Falls on JFK Drive (near Transverse Drive & 19th Avenue overpass) and runs a slight downhill on JFK to the Polo Field/Spreckles Lake area on JFK. It is certified point to point and very fast. Race day registration from 7 a.m. at the Polo Field north tunnel path near John F. Kennedy Drive at 36th. Super Shuttles will be available from Polo Fields to Rainbow Falls. There is no registration at Rainbow Falls.

Christmas Classic 5K

8:30 a.m., Sunday, December 21, 2003: The Christmas Classic 5K starts 8:30 a.m. on JFK Drive near Spreckles Lake & also near the mile finish. It runs a scenic, certified loop, mostly flat with one one mild hill. Race day registration from 7 a.m. at the Polo Field north tunnel path near John F. Kennedy Drive at 36th. There is no registration at Rainbow Falls.

Pre-registration Entry: $20 to register for either the Miracle Mile or the 5K, includes t-shirt (until December 08, 2003).
Race-Day Entry: $25 to register for either the Miracle Mile or the 5K, includes t-shirt, from 7:00 a.m. at the North Tunnel Path of the Polo Fields (near John F. Kennedy Drive at 36th), in Golden Gate Park.
Special Combo Entry: $25 to register for both the Miracle Mile and 5K (until December 08, 2003)
$30 to register for both the Miracle Mile and 5K (after December 08, 2003)
Commemorative Mug: Free for early registrations received before December 08, 2003.

Winners of the 5K and 6 Mile receive a breakfast for two at Jo Ann's Café (1131 El Camino Real in South San Francisco), which placed second for best American Breakfast in California by Zagat Survey of Restaurants (Ritz Carlton was first). First, second, and third place winners in each age division through age 85+ will receive a special mug with their place screened alongside the race logo. Prizes for place winners, random drawing winners, and top pledge collectors, often include a vacation at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel, Maui's most Hawaiian, Bach Dancing & Dynamite Society concerts, Chevy's Dinner Certificates, Sports Basement Certificates, a Cardio Glide from Fitness Equipment Direct and a stay at the famous San Remo Hotel near San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf.
