Runs & Walks to Benefit People

Running

Freedom Road 2 Mile & 10K

A Benefit for the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML).

$50 billion is wasted annually on the War on Drugs, which incarcerates more than 700,000 annually and most of these are for Marijuana, the lest harmful of intoxicating substances. This folly destroys lives and the economy while accomplishing nothing, other than overflowing the prisons and forcing violent offenders onto the street. As a result, in California we spend more for prisons than we do for public education

This event has already been run. The results are available here.
