Concourse Mile

8:00 a.m., Sunday, August 11, 2002: The Concourse Mile starts 8 a.m. on Middle Drive near the Conservatory of Flowers. Race day registration from 7 a.m. at the Conservatory of Flowers, in Golden Gate Park.

Gift of Life 5K

8:30 a.m., Sunday, August 11, 2002: The Gift of Life 5K starts 8:30 a.m. starts on JFK Drive near the Conservatory of Flowers. Race day registration from 7 a.m. at the Conservatory of Flowers, in Golden Gate Park.

Pre-registration Entry: $20 to register for either the Concourse Mile or the Gift of Life 5K, includes t-shirt (until August 04, 2002).
Race-Day Entry: $25 to register for either the Concourse Mile or the Gift of Life 5K, includes t-shirt, from 7:00 a.m. at the Conservatory of Flowers, in Golden Gate Park.
Special Combo Entry: $25 to register for both the Concourse Mile and Gift of Life 5K, includes t-shirt (until August 04, 2002)
$30 to register for both the Concourse Mile and Gift of Life 5K, includes t-shirt (after August 04, 2002)
Commemorative Mug: Free for early registrations received before July 28, 2002.

$5 of your entry fee goes directly to Gift of Life Transplant House - It is tax-deductible.

Awards 3-deep in all age divisions. First, second, and third place winners in each division will receive a special mug with their place screened alongside the race logo. Winners of the 5K & Mile receive tickets to Bach Dancing & Dynamite Society concerts, dinner certificates for Chevy's Fresh Mex, gift certificates from Sports Basement, and breakfast for two at JoAnn's (2nd place by Zagart Food Survey). There are certificates and more for the random drawing. Prizes for the top pledge collectors are a Cardio Glide from FitnessEquipmentDirect.com and a stay at San Francisco's Historic San Remo Hotel, as well as Chevy's dinner certificates.
