Winners of the Gift of Life 5K and Concourse Mile receive a breakfast for two at Jo Ann's Café (1131 El Camino Real in South San Francisco), which placed second for best American Breakfast in California by Zagat Survey of Restaurants (Ritz Carlton was first). First, second, and third place winners in each age division through age 85+ will receive a special mug with their place screened alongside the race logo. Prizes for place winners, random drawing winners, and top pledge collectors, include a vacation at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel, Maui's most Hawaiian, Bach Dancing & Dynamite Society concerts, Chevy's Dinner Certificates, Sports Basement Certificates, a Cardio Glide from Fitness Equipment Direct and a stay at the famous San Remo Hotel near San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf.
