8:00 a.m., Sunday, November 7, 1999: 5K starts 8 a.m. at John F. Kennedy Drive at 10th Avenue in Golden Gate Park; 10K starts 8:05 a.m.at Stow Lake Drive and JFK Drive (500 yards west of 5K start). Race day registration from 7 a.m. at the Rose Garden, between the starts on JFK. Both are Certified, Flat, Fast, loop courses, that finish in front of the conservatory of Flowers. Within easy walking distance of the starts and offering ample parking in surrounding areas.

Winners of the 5K and 10K receive a breakfast for two at JoAnn's, which placed second for best American Breakfast in California by Zagat Survey of Restaurants. They also receive assorted gift certificates from such contributors as Speedo Authentic Fitness, Hoy's Sports, and others. First, second, and third place winners in each division will receive a special mug with their place screened alongside the race logo.
